Summer Heat Relief

We are taking a break from posting our usual photo essay for a week, but here is something to tide you over in case you miss us.

As the temperatures climb, one starts to crave the coolness of running water. If you are tied to your responsibilities at work or at home and cannot escape to the nearest pool or pond, Zuihitsu is here to provide you with the next best thing: the sounds of a gushing brook.

We hope that these videos (taken while walking along the picturesque Pik Shan Path on Hong Kong Island) will prove soothing and calming. Turn up your volume and, for maximum cooling effect, play all three videos simultaneously. (If the videos do not play in your email, click through to the Zuihitsu website.)
